Rural Tastes is a transnational project between LAG Bura and international partners from Finland, Cyprus, Estonia, Portugal. The project aims at promoting and connecting local producers, as well as transferring knowledge and expanding the placement market. During 2020, the plan is to create joint calendars on the topic of “Favorite Rural Homeland” and to produce video materials to promote the project and producers.
The project aims to achieve trade between members, local stakeholders and beyond, a system of traceability and principles “from the field to the table” as well as branding products and connecting stakeholders for easier placement in foreign markets.
In 2019, LAG “Bura” attended project events in Cyprus and Estonia, while the event Rural Flavors in Croatia was organized on May 4, 2019.
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the implementation of sub-measure 19.3.2.
