Workshop in Bohinj: Market access and promotion of traditional varieties through tourism and gastronomy

Deputy manager Josip Šare participated as a guest in the AgroBioCom project where he presented the area and work of the LAG “Bura” in Bohinj, Slovenia (4–7 June 2025), dedicated to the market access and communication of traditional varieties, with a special emphasis on regional added value. The project was funded by the Erasmus + program.
The focus was on discussions on the importance of tourism, cultural heritage and regional identity as key factors for the promotion of traditional plant varieties and indigenous breeds of domestic animals.
Tradition + identity + sustainability = stronger local community!
