Last week, LAG “Bura” employee Josip Šare participated as one of 20 experts in the first meeting of the Common Agricultural Policy (EU CAP Network) Focus Group on Local Perennial Plant Genetic Resources in the Context of Climate Change in Madrid, Spain.
The main task of the focus group was to answer questions on how the conservation and use of local perennial crop varieties can become attractive and profitable for farmers and how to contribute to sustainable agriculture that protects biodiversity.
